Sub 1:35 in half marathon.  Then might consider taking a shot at full marathon again.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

AM: Ran 7 mi on the TM.  Couldn't sleep so I was up at 4 this morning.  I kept thinking about what I did wrong at my job.  I wasn't let go because of performance reasons, but already starting to blame myself for getting released and putting my family through this stress.  I'm very fortunate in many ways, but still like to really hammer on myself.  I don't give myself any middle ground, it's either pass or fail, thumbs up or thumbs down with me you know?  I just have to keep Jon's advice and wail on with my running.

PM: Very easy 2 mi with my oldest daughter and then a faster 2 mi aftwerwards.  Finally got the old resume updated.  I think it's good to go.

Sorry to hear about the job. I think your feelings are normal and natural but you have a good attitude and that makes a huge difference. What is your work background and what type of job are you looking for? I will pray that you will find something quickly and that it is even a better job. Keep the great attitude!

I'll second Jim. There's a bigger picture that might make sense later. Meanwhile, just keep plugging away. - prov. 3:5-6

Bob, sorry to hear about the job, I just saw this post. I echo the hang in there, you have talents and maybe God is just trying to steer you in a new direction.
