Christie Clinic Half Marathon 4/27/24

Sub 1:35 in half marathon.  Then might consider taking a shot at full marathon again.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Ran 8.6 mi in the morning and 4.7 mi during lunch hour. Getting a bit tired of the 2-a-day routines so going to cut back to more once a day and make Tues and Thursday the 2x days. Ah, what does it matter. Probably change it again next week.

I know what you mean. I have trouble running twice daily. I have been trying to go longer on single runs and hope the body holds up.

I don't know how you do it. I admire two a dayers, but secretly I also find it crazy. :)

Yeah, and I'm finding out that I'm running for the wrong reasons as well and not getting any better. Need changes.
