Sub 1:35 in half marathon.  Then might consider taking a shot at full marathon again.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

The typical longer Saturday run. Weather was ideal so didn't have to worry about hydration so much. Wanted to go 20 miles, but based on how I felt it made sense to cut it short. I was feeling depleted at the end since I didn't eat before the run. Tough business carrying this extra weight for these longer treks. The plan is to alternate 15 and 20 mile Saturdays. I hope to have it in me for 20 next weekend.

The rotation of medium-long and long runs is a very good idea. Lets the body know that you always are ready for some long stuff, yet lets you recover a bit every other week.

Good miles this week! Glad you got some cooler temps late this week. That sure helps.

Is there a good size indoor track in your area? On occasion when it becomes too hot I will go to an indoor track and do the shorter long run. Just make sure it's at least bigger than a shoe box which some unfortunately are not.
