Sub 1:35 in half marathon.  Then might consider taking a shot at full marathon again.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

5 mi - Mixed in some fartleks throughout, followed by strength training.

Heading back to cardiologist tomorrow for a check-up.  Feels like I'm creeping towards getting a pacemaker.  My bradycardia is becoming more symptomatic as the years pass.

Rest day.  Had a follow-up appt. with Cardiologist today.  Resting heart rate has continued to fall over the past year even though my activity level has declined.  Discussed all of my other symptoms (constant fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc.).  I was hoping it would get better but seems to be getting worse (not sure what normal feels like anymore).  I suppose I could just take the next 10 years off from vigorous exercise and see what happens, but as we age our heart rates continue to fall.  So decided it was time I go to an EP specialist to discuss implanting a pacemaker.  Owe it to the family to not mess around with it anymore.
