Running Accomplishments:

Marathon PR - 3:05 (3:06 at Boston)

Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Improve consistency and build aerobic base. Pacemaker implant in 2016 for Symptomatic Bradycardia.  Cardiac ablation in 2019 for SVT.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Lose about 50-60 lbs. and maybe complete a marathon.

Personal:

Just doing stuff I wasn't built to do.  Married with children, and two fluffy dogs.

PM: Easy 9.5 mi with some hard fartleks near the end.  I even caressed a 5 min pace at one point and at that pace confirmed that I carry too much weight.

AM: Another easy 7 mi.  The usual Tuesday tired legs this morning.  The strange thing is I get stronger as the week progesses.  Probably 80% mental.  Finished reading the book Once a Runner and now started reading the book The Perfect Mile.  Very good book so far. PM: Easy 3.5 mi + TP 2 mi + Easy 4 mi with the last 2.5 mi completed barefoot in KSOs. Felt strong and in control, unlike this morning.

AM: Just another 8.1 mi run around the neighborhood and lake.  Beautiful morning for running.

PM: Easy 10 mi out and back on a bike trail.  Top of right foot hurts.  I think its from too tight of shoes during a run yesterday.  Not real painful, but definitely annoying at times.  Hopefully it clears up.

Did a combo run/walk 25 mi on a bike trail.  Foot is bothersome at times and I'm certain it's some tendonitis based on how it reacts while I run.
